Eric is Eric Danno of Ace-Tones, Napoleons, Link Wray (and countless other great bands) fame and he recorded this version especially for me! Couldn't believe my eyes (and ears) at first. What a great guy, you see I'm not the only one who's crazy about the song. Apparently my enthusiasm worked on him too! Eric recorded this all on his own, playing all the instruments. Recorded March 31, 2000 on 4-track at SPOD Studios, Delft. This take is slowed down a bit but definitely kicks ass. Very crude and grungey (that's the 'Back From The Grave' kinda grunge, folks!) accentuated by some menacing vocals. Super version all the way, sure wish all rock 'n' roll sounded as raw and intense as this. Eric told me he's thinking of putting this on his upcoming second solo CD-R called 'Songs Of Innocence...And Experience'. Well Eric, you certainly have my blessing all the way!
