The Little Boy Blues

The credits merely read (T. Scott), but that's the only flaw. A super version by a super band and the first one I ever heard! I immediately fell in love and never recovered. This deserved to to be a hit. It even came with a unique picture sleeve, a rare treat indeed. Only 500 copies came with this PS. The guitar solo is pure magic and kicks off after a sudden stop, very cool! The Little Boy Blues recorded several other great singles but stay clear from their 1968 'In The Woodland Of Weir' LP on Fontana, which is a far cry from their garage days. The Acid Symposium CD features the complete Little Boy Blues output, so you can find out for yourself how much the aforementioned jazzrock/prog LP sucks in comparison to the godlike IRC/Ronko 45's. The Little Boy Blues line-up on 'I Can Only Give You Everything' was: Ray Levin (bass) - Paul Ostroff (lead guitar) - James Boyce (drums/lead vocal) - Lowell Shyette (rhythm guitar) - Billy McColl (backing vocals).
