The Marshmallow Overcoat
|
|
The Marshmallow Overcoat mix a healthy dose of psychedelia into the song that lifts it to another dimension. Sorta Strawberry Alarm Clock meets The Seeds, so you know youčre in for a real treat. The song kicks off with an ad for the 'Psych-Out' flick and ends with a short humorous interview. Lead singer Timothy Gassen is also the author of 'The Knights Of Fuzz', an in dept survey of the garage scene in the eighties and nineties. 'The Knights Of Fuzz' is now sadly out of print so I urge you all to send Tim an e-mail (tgassen@azstarnet.com) and tell him how much the world needs another edition of his book. Line-up: Mike Panico (guitars) - Dan Magee (bass) - Timothy Gassen (organ/vocals) - Debra Dickey (organ) - Scot Gassen (drums).
