It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to a few pals of mine. Rat Fink A Boo-Boo is a garage cover band which makes it compulsory to include 'I Can Only Give You Everything' in the repertoire, I guess. Lead by Frank 'Zaman' Haelman on guitar, they deliver a great stomping version. Frank played guitar in Ze Noiz in the late 80's/early 90's and his new band kicks ass all the way. Bass player Yannick Ally was formerly the drummer in The Clan (not to be confused with the 60's Belgian band The Klan!), check out their two ace cuts on the 1987 comp 'The Second Belgian 6 T's Boom # 2' on Boom Records. The two best songs on the album, if you ask me. Yours truly is also featured on that album, but I couldn't top those guys! Recorded October 2000 in Zaman's own Cat Farm Studios, the CD also has covers of 'I wanna Be Your Man' (Beatles), 'I Can't Control Myself' (Troggs), 'Substitute' (Who), 'I Need You' (Kinks) and 'Beat On The Brat' (Ramones). 'California Sun' combines Rat Fink A Boo-Boo's first two CD's. The singer is one of the best I heard in a very long time.
