Tommy Scott
Tommy Scott

The author's version only appeared in Germany at the time. Released half a year after Them's version. Why Tommy Scott (born Thomas Kilpatrick) never got the credit he deserves is beyond me, his production work for The Beatstalkers, Them and The Wheels alone owes him a place in the rock 'n' roll hall of fame anyday! The Farfisa sounds incredible and Tommy Scott's vocals are impeccable. A-side is a cover of the Eden Kane hit from 1964 (Fontana TF 438). Tommy Scott, who was an ex-Apaches/early Dean Ford and The Gaylords (who evolved into The Marmalade) member, also wrote 'Call My Name' and 'Don't You Know' (both songs were also recorded by The Wheels), all of which appear on 'Them Again'. I've heard a rumor that the 45 was also released in Holland at the time - also on Ariola - can anyone confirm this?
