This one's not out yet, so you have to be a little patient. Due for release later this year. Recorded live before a studio audience at Radio F.R.E.I. October 26, 2001. The complete show was also broadcasted live. Thumbs up for the minimalist approach that the Yucca Spiders handle to bring you back-to-basics versions of 12 of their favorite songs. 'Brand New Cadillac', 'Comanche', 'Twist And Shout', 'Viva Las Vegas', 'Summertime Blues', 'Louie Louie'... Hey Theo, this is the first records that has cover versions of both 'Louie Louie' and 'I Can Only Give You Everything'. That was a long time waiting! I really dig this version a lot, lead singer Val howls and screams in the best Lux Interior tradition and the backing vocals from the girls are very cool as well. I sure hope the LP comes out real soon! If you can't wait just check the Yucca Spiders website for some neat pics and mp3's.
